hmm. I bet those tires have an insanely high tread wear rating though.

IMO 14,000 miles could make a difference but probably not a serious one, considering even tire pressure could change the overal diameter of the tires. But then again, if he replaced the rears before the front this problem has probably been going on for a while. Who knows how many times its been done...

I do like how he says its "insanely fast".

so moving your fronts to the rear and getting just new fronts is bad for AWD? my dad makes me do that, he controlls what i buy so it never realy matters whats right as long as its cheaper, the center diff on my car is long gone anyway so i geuss no harm done now

haha well technically the difference in tire diameters will make each wheel spin at different speeds, putting stress on the center diff even when just going straight.

Same goes for if you have different total wheel diameters on each side. blah.
