Hit a coyote last night

Post by tonflo »

I feel really bad about this. I hit a coyote last night on my way home. It ran right out in front of me from the left & I hit it broadside. I stopped to make sure it was dead (it was, I think it was over in a second or 2). Front license plate bent completely back into grill beaking some of the upper & lower attachments to those black vertical slats in the opening. Another reason front plates are a PITA. Some may have been broken from impact with the coyote too. My driver's side PIAA 1000 driving light is demolished. I will have to look in to finding a lone replacement (they are 11 yrs old now). The metal plate back in the fog light opening got bent too.

I just wanted to vent that I felt like crap killing the coyote & I'm upset about damage to the car.

Sorry to hear about that. Look at it this way, at least you spared the roadrunner.
