Maf and TB upgrades?
I am curious if there is another model of subaru with a larger/ better flowing Maf and/or TB that is an easy upgrade for my 92 Legacy. I know alot of suaru parts are interchangeable and am curious about this one.
Unless you really know what your doing I would say DON'T TOUCH THE TB! There the slightest bit picky.
As for the MAF, are you running a metal Hitachi MAF or a Plastic? Stock for sock the Plastic MAFS have a little more head room than the metal.

Maybe you're already thinknig about this, but the sensors (MAF, TPS) are matched to the ECU. Generally, if you're changing sensors, you'll have to do something with Engine management / ECU as well so that it interprets the new signals properly.

airbox
It is going to be a bit of work, but a later airbox off a 95 up with the angled maf would flow more air than the one we have with the opening in very close proximity to the sides of the airbox. I have plans to do this if I can get caught up on all the other projects. The resonator box will have to go ( no loss) and be replaced by a custom piece that I am going to try and source having made. I really think the extra flow would show up as some HP.
