94 Subaru Legacy L AWD Wagon Automatic.
Engine is shot (read my thread in Engine section for more info). I need to get rid of this car. Im in Ithaca, NY. If anyone is interested, please shoot me an e-mail at;
phillips.brian@gmail.com.
You must take the entire car as I cannot have a stripped down car sitting in front of my house (we rent).
The car is white with blue interior. Interior and body are in good condition. Tires are very good. Has new exhaust pipe from second cat back and new muffler. New calipers and rotors on front drivers and passenger back. To try and resolve the problem I was having, Subaru dealers checked sensors (including MAF), manifolds and cats, and fuel pressure - all were OK.
$500 obo.

I just read your thread in the engine section, bad crankshaft and bearings? I hate to see an otherwise soilid car die, if you think a good crank and bearings would get it going again I can send you the parts for the cost of shipping ($15?). I have a nice crankshaft here with the rods still attached.

Hey man,
I really appreciate the offer. However, I think replacing the crankshaft is far beyond my mechanical capabilities. It is a shame, I liked this car a lot. It was the only car I ever owned where all of the electrical components in the interior actually worked. Also, the cargo space is excellent. Never got a chance to try out the AWD in the snow.
