Does the 4EAT have a actual "transfer case"

Post by ericem »

The reason i am asking, is because, well the guy agreed to fix the AWD, but the problem, is on the warrenty paper it states 6000KM warrenty on the transfer case, but is it a ACTUAL tranfer case? Doesn't really matter but i want to know, incase he comments. What is another or proper word for it? For the rear housing? But there is no ACTUAL transfer case persay?

The 4EAT doesnt have a seperate rear housing.

The front diff is removable, the center clutchpacks and stuff are all part of the same clamshell as the transmission.

Only not full time 4WD vehicles have transfer cases. They're on vehicles like Jeeps, Trucks, and large SUV's (not the Pilot though).
