windshield wiper help 92 legacy stopped working!

hey guys, so after some starting issues with my rallycross car (92 leggy sedan) I popped in a new battery adn she fired right up, then i went to clean the windshield and heard a loud pop, now my wipers do not work. could this be something easy like a fuse or soemthing? they worked perfect before.
