I thought of a funny paint scheme today, how about painting your car olive drab and then painting the shark teeth on the front like old fighter planes did?

I should do that to my Fox. That would be the fitting touch! It really sounds like an airplane due to the lack of exhaust and I could care less about the paint. Some of it has flaked off already and there's a good amount of rust too.

I could swear that the old fighters were painted gray.

No shark teeth though. I was thinking more towards carrier-based planes, but okay I see now. Almost forgot about the mustangs, although the one I usually see is mostly black.

I still think teeth would look better on gray instead of OD, but that's my opinion.

Aircraft of WWII came in all different colors depending on deployment and squadron. As the war progressed they stopped delivering them painted (in Europe at least) to save time and weight, though ground crews were given the option of painting them. The shark mouth comes from the American Voluteer Group, also known as the flying tigers, who helped defend China in outdated P-40s from the Japanese. They were amazingly successful in shooting down Mitsubishis and Nakajimas. The earlier P-51 pictured has the post D-Day black and white invasion stripes.

The P-Town in MA (Provincetown) on the tip of Cape Cod is a huge gay community.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

That would be a bit rediculous to put into paint. Saying that, someone out there is probably trying to do that to a Bronco or something at this moment. I certainly wouldn't have the patience for that.
