i thank you again for your write up!jnorion wrote:Sweet, looks nice. Glad I could help someone out. Did you do the needles separately or just change out the backlights?
please do get a write up, did you need to change bulbs or colour?jnorion wrote:Also, I did the HVAC already as well but forgot to document it properly... it's not hard. I'll get a writeup soon.
there are no "hot spots" but the top where the bigger leds are, are a bit birghter then the smaller 4 ledsjnorion wrote:EDIT: And are there a lot of hot spots using red? It's not too bad on the gauge cluster with blue, but the red in the HVAC is terrible.
OK cool, I've been thinking about doing red for mine at least temporarily, not sure yet though. I never did get the blue working on my new car.bmxkelowna wrote: i thank you again for your write up!
i left the needles, the red leds light them up perfect
I put red LEDs in that one... I'm trying to remember now what size. They were just slightly too large to fit properly so it was kind of a pain getting them to go in but it worked. But even with the so-called wide angle LEDs the hot spots are terrible, so I want to go back and put colored bulbs in it instead and see if I can make it work that way. Now I just have to find the old bulbs I took out of it...bmxkelowna wrote: please do get a write up, did you need to change bulbs or colour?
