struts

to make a long story short I came upon a set of impreza KYB GR2 struts and they look the same as my Legacys..... will they fit provided I use the original legacy top hats ??

Are the Impreza struts for a FWD or AWD?

there just 2 fronts.... Im ordering 2 rears... for a 2wd i think ??... they fit an XT6 ... thanks by the way... i cant read these links and just get mad trying to find waht Im looking for in the search thing

Yours being an SS and thus already AWD, you must use AWD struts for the rear. FWD and AWD rear struts will not interchange.

The Impreza struts sorta fit XT6s, the brackets on the struts have to be bent out to be used on XT6s, or so I understand.

The rears are completely different.

And do try to search through that thread Greg. There's tons of good info in there, and probably answers just about any suspension question you could possibly have.
