3" Setup. Will these parts work?

Post by Soarer »

I'm putting a 3" exhaust on my 91ss and have a few questions.

I plan on buying a wrx downpipe like this one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-06-Su ... dZViewItem

This Catalytic converter: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... &rd=1&rd=1

This muffler with offset inlet and center outlet: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/FLOWMAST ... dZViewItem

I plan on having an exhaust shop put it all together and make the 3" pipe to go from the cat to the muffler.

Any reason it wouldn't work? Am I going to have co2 sensor issues?

A decent quality 3" cat-converter is like $55-65 on summit racing

Is that a 3 inch end on the downpipe ( as it does not say)
Also a quality cat will last longer.

this is the muffler I went with, but I should have ordered the longer one as mine is too loud.
