well first off hello all.
here are a few pics of a legacy wagon i just saved from the crusher. it's rusty but it's really solid on the bottom.
don't know if i'll try and rally it out or do a touring theme to it.

here's the thing with the car. guy said the trans was shot and he had to have $300 for it, gave him the cash, drove it onto the trailer, took it to the shop where i work, put in the RF CV axle (as i noticed it was missing) everything works fine. 8)
and the roll pins for the CV axles are a pain in the ass.

thats weird, what kind of fool wouldn't know he had a whole cv shaft missing? Was it there but broken? or completely not there? either way, good score.

both ends were there but the middle was missing. it was sooo stupid though. that was the 2nd thing i noticed after opening the the hood. 1st was non turbo :( but he's telling me how someone went through the tranny and there's parts in the rear, and i'm thinkin.... ummm the CV axle is the problem
