Dreaded 4eat torque bind

Post by wallgood358 »

Well it has finally come to the point where i know for sure i have a torque bind issue. After getting 4 all new tires, replacing the front cv axle and bad front wheel bearing, got a 4 wheel alignment and took the fuse out. Same issue as before all that. Not that it wasnt needed, but damn i am disappointed. So want i want to ask of the techs on here and i guess anyone who has had and fixed this issue, what is the cheapest route i can take to fix this. I read the article on it in the library and it quotes $750 at some Subaru Dealership. I am hoping for much cheaper than that if possible. Suggestions?

I found an old article where a group of guys are talking about adding AC/Delco Limited Slip Differential Lubricant Additive to the tranny and it is a temp fix.
