What does it take to run 12's ??

Post by waldo320 »

Thinking of goals and asperations this week with doing my block build I was wondering what it takes to make a BC a consistent 12 second car?
Like minumal turbo requrirements is it possible to use a vf 34/39. I will asume a deasent after market fmic. Some sort of tunning with a afc or pp6. Is it possible on stock sti injectors? I also know that I am pushing the limits on the 4eat so probly a manual swap. Also about that manual swap do I need the manual ecu? Assumming a dohc swap, and putting a stage 3-4 cam with new valve springs. Anyways if your are in 12's land what is your current set up?
One of the crazy's boosting a NA!

4eat's are supposed to be stronger than a 5mt and you could get a better launch out of em. a guy on here managed to break an axle with one by power braking.

AWD bitch.

I'm surprised there isn't a smiley after that!!

Launching in the rain was one of my all-time favorite activities. Espically when next to Integras/civics/Mustangs/350's and the like. Good, clean, LOUD, fun.

They don't open the strip if it is even remotely wet. And this weekend is the opening weekend! :( :(
