I've found a replacement for Christine...er...Majen, my '91. It looks like I'll be getting her next week. '94 Aegean Blue SS sedan.
There was a local place that had an R title winstone red SS. I drove it and seemed pretty tight but as I went down the road, a CEL went on and the front fender liner came out due to the beam inside the fender being rusted away. I asked the dude what he wanted and he was saying 2970.00. I looked at him and just said "OK, good luck". It had other issues too. The hood wouldn't come down flush and the front end was still a bit twisted from a front end collision. Seemed a lot for an R title with issues. I think it still sits there.
I wanted to add that I saw my car sitting at the storage yard. I'm getting ready to go there and take my Intercooler, coolant reservoir, boost controller and attendant hardware. Should be pretty fun.
Likely getting a new SS

My goal is to buy two again but this time one will be getting a build up if it works out. I've already got a guy who takes junked muscle cars and turns them into sweet looking cars. He's pimping out a Chevelle at the moment. We'd be doing it a his tranny shop. Finally, I might be able to work in a garage with actual lifts, air tools and room to move. I'm thinking about bucking the trend and doing it with an auto. This guy thinks it can be done and if you saw some of the work he's done, it's impressive enough for me to believe it. It's still just an idea though. But as possibly the shop co-manager it might be do-able.
