I am in Japan for a month and decided to post a few of the Legs I see. Not too many pics yet but somehow the Legacy is the most common Subaru (ever to grace North America) that I see here. I have yet to see a BC/BF, not many cars that age on the road here unless they are LOVED by their owner because of "old car tax"
The only WRX I have seen was the GC8, nothing newer. Mostly Evos around Osaka and Kyoto...... and of course all of the crazy little stuff that our market can't support. I have not seen one SUV yet and the only "pick-ups" are kei vehicles that probably weigh under 1000KG
the gallery should grow over time

Awesome. I always loved the fact that their cars are so much more obviously tuned than ours. No big cars due to the fact that their roads don't have the width.
If you are in the general Osaka- Kobe area, check out a few junkyards for parts!
Yes I have too many Subarus
No you can't have one

It's not just an old car tax - their inspections are incredibly brutal and cars only a few years old can fail.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.
