Yeah I feel a fairly noticeable difference with the turbo that without. I guess if I really hammer it, then my car "leaps" but my bros car leaps more soo.... I guess what I was trying to say was that I wish I had a little more low end torque for say passing when going up the pass for just passing in general on the freeway.

Ya, i know what your saying, even when it down shifts, still could use that turbo! With my dads nissan titan you just tap the pedal and it goes like sting, well 300HP is more then 130HP :D and he has a 5 speed auto. I was thinking about like getting a diamond coil pack, and seeing if that makes the car more repsonsive, i dont think changing the air filter would change anything noticeably.

Or I guess another way of putting it is I feel like I have plenty of power in 1st and 2nd gear, it's just in 3rd and 4th that don't have any guts which is rather annoying when on the freeway and trying to speed up. I have actually chirped my tires with I was rocking my steelies:twisted: but since I got my WRX wheels I am no longer able to do that.

my tires just chirp in FWD mode, but my dad said, when the car was new, when he inserted the FWD fuse, and he floored it, the tires would smoke all day. I have a cracked knock sensor, i wonder how much a difference it will make after i change it. Compression is good, i don't know, it might be 14 years old, so what. Other things might be binding though, who knows. I know i also need a new front left CV. I think im going to buy OEM CV's.

Yeah it could have something to do with our cars being 14-15 years old. Maybe if there is someway to refresh it. Hmmm...

gto, sorry for the thread jack. :P

well speaking of cv joints and steering stuff, would you have any idea what would be causing a slight vibration/wobble in the front of my car. I had hit a couple of curbs. I then had my right inner tie rod replaced and had the car aligned. I also shortly after that got new tires thinking that maybe one of my tires was out of balance. But I still can notice the wobble/vibration thing but it is mainly at speeds > 40 mph.

ya check that first, i doubt its the CV. Wheels might need to be balanced as well.

well I am pretty sure that my rims aren't bent. I had the head gasket and water pump replaced recently and the guy that did the work said he spun the wheels with the car raised up and said that there wasn't any wobble. I think the damage to the wheel is mainly physical.
