Yes. That's one of the coolest stories in the history of man combined with Frank Miller's artistic interpretation. I don't know how it couldn't kick ass.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

the comics have been pretty good. If the movie is anything like it, it'll be a good waste of money

went and saw it, it was good except second to front row seating really sucks. I'll probably go see it at the IMAX in the Luxor next time.

The movie was badass. It was a little bit wrong factually, but the fighting was kickass.

Yeah, it was pretty awesome. Best movie I've seen in a while. I especially liked the initial battle scenes.

"Spartan, come back with your shield....or on it."

Spartans could be punished severly if they came back from war without their shield. Because they used the phalynx formation, their shield protected the man to thier left. Coming back without a shield implied that you threw it away in order to escape.

I read the MCNBC article. Whichever Iranian came up with this as an issue is an idiot!

The movie 300 was good. Great cinematogrphay and acting. I was unimpressed with the plot though.

300 was f*ckin badass. Sure there were a few inaccurate aspects like their armor or the fact that there were actually around 1000 soldier, 300 of which were Spartans, but its Hollywood so you can't expect them to do a by-the-book reepresentation, they have to do what looks good.

I second monty's statement. I can't wait to see Transformers

I think Topher Grace doesn't exactly physically fit the character. I mean Flash was a big buff jock wasn't he?
