Inner Auto Store - They have some cool replacement parts

Post by turboleg »

Just cruisin on the net and happened upon this site:

http://www.innerauto.com/

It would appear that they have quite a few items for the BC that I can't even order from local stores. Things like the timing belt tensioner. A few of there parts are outragiously priced but there also the things you would go to the pick a part for. I see a couple parts that are pretty cheap and aparantly they offer free shipping over $50 (I did see a universal 3 wire O2 sensor for the soob for aroun $40, I think I paid $60 at autozone once - this was before I was smart!).

Not to say that I still won't be going to subarugenuineparts.com for every hard to find part that I buy, but atleast there is one more to compare too.

I have dealt with innerauto. They are not a warehouse with parts -

They are a parts "finder" They have the inventories of other companies and have those companies ship out your order.

I ordered a bumper through them for work. They sent the wrong bumper after I gave them the VIN. They were out of stock on the correct item and the sales guy apparently wanted his commission and didnt care whether or not I got the wrong part.

Basically, the my company is now stuck with a bumper that my boss is going to have to eat return shipping for and will be charged something like 20% restocking - EVEN though it was their fault and they acknowledged this.

On top of that, the sales and returns depts are not in the same states and have no way of communicating other than email.

A piss poor system that I will never order from again...
