what the little box that says hot?

Post by HellBinder »

the little box on the rt strut tower by the air box, i know most subaru's have them, what is it exactly, im not sure if i need it for my WRX swap and its been in the back of my mind for acouple weeks.
looks like only two heavy wires run to it?
Horsepower is horsepower, the label on the box doesnt matter.

A picture would be useful, but I think what you're talking about is the DRL resistor

Yep, it's the DRL resistor on the WRX. It also appears on auto tranny BC/BF legacies as the dropping resistor and lives in the exact same place...
