Do the camber plates for the WRX fit our cars?
I already have camber bolts, but they don't give me the flexability to change camber at an auto-x.
Thanks

I'm not sold on the ground controls yet. And I already have 2.5" coiloversjamal wrote:For $350 I definitely wouldn't get those. Racecomp, Whiteline, and PDE to name a few make better ones.
Also it says those only work with 2.5" coilover springs.

Where did you find whiteline camber plates? I can't find them in a google search. Got a link?
The racecomps look good but they are $400 and don't give me caster adjustability.
The PDE's don't let me adjust caster indipendently from camber. Also they appear to cover up the adjustment for my adjustable struts.
Are there any other brands you can think of. I'm open to suggestions.
Thanks

I don't know about fit on these but someone I talked to used them to move struts in alignment so they can run wider tires on an STI...
There are some folks that work at Ground Control on this board - forgetting names now. Search Ground Control and see what come up and then pm them.
I think these look like really nices pieces - I think they are designed to work with the coilover converstion kits from GC...with springs from eibach...

the whiteline max-c plates are designed for two settings you can slide between for track days/ autocross and daily driving. They go from max camber with a little less caster, to more caster with less camber. There are two versions depending on what you'd like the most of.
globalperformance should have them.
Racecomp plates for a WRX on our cars will be angled so that as you increase camber caster will increase.
MRT and Cusco also make plates and I think you can adjust both. I don't know much about them though.

so the GC camber plates are not a direct bolt on due to the fact the bolt pattern is rotated on the legacy. Keep in mind that the GC plates are more for race than street. i used the "old style" GC WRX plates in my car but had to drill new holes for the plates to work correctly. these plates will only work with 2.5" id springs re- the eibachs we use in all our kits. These were not too hard to put on but are deffinetly not for the novice.
there are camber plates made for the legacy by http://www.k-mac.com/ though i could not research them to tell the difference cause my computer freaked out on their web site (dial-up)

I miss my legacy :(

I thought that was the case but I couldn't find any definite answers on that.ej22t kid wrote:so the GC camber plates are not a direct bolt on due to the fact the bolt pattern is rotated on the legacy.

I think you said in this thread that the top mount plates I linked won't fit our cars anyway.
I think I am just going to set my camber bolts back as far negative as they will go and forget about it (should be almost 3 degrees).
The main reason I was interested in them was to set my camber back to a reasonable level after an auto-x. But instead I might get one of these and not worry about it at all:

would also cost allot less on gas(but thats a little off topic)

Thanks for the replies
