Hi All. I am looking to see if anyone has ever been able to navigate the cleaning of the rear drains (I have a wagon)
If that were the problem I would like to clen them before pulling the headliner and moonroof. Esp if it is not leaking. Oh wait... I suppose it must be leaking. But if its only leaking some, not lots, then the drains SHOULD be taking that away, right?
THanks
Chris

I'm assuming you read this sticky at the top of the page

The drain hoses are at least 1/2 inch ID (maybe even 5/8 ) so they won't offer much back pressure if they aren't plugged. There is one at each corner of the pan, not just the rear 2. It can still leak if the hoses are clear since water goes under the rails before reaching the corners.
Good luck, this is a big project to get out headliner & moonroof. If you take out the passenger seat it is a lot easier to get the moonroof out & back in (can't remember which door I went through though). If you are tall like me, it is a 1 person job to reinstall. Not easy, but doable. Sit on back seat, support front edge of pan on top of toes with leg fully extended. Use arms to support rear. Get 1 or 2 rear bolts in by hand, then move up & get 1 or 2 front bolts in by hand. Be careful with the electical connector at the LF corner, I always pinched it the first time back in.
