My Mazda again

Post by Carbix »

The driver side of my car is 1/8 lower then the other side. WTF is going on. Any ideas?

Air in the tires is correct. There is no pull to any side when i drive. And the main driver is only 120lb (wifes car)

I am having the driver front hub bearing replaced. (but not the hug, Im cheap the bearing is under wrty but the Hug is fine so its not under the wrty)

Being that im talking about the Mazda. Anyone have a Protege' 5?
If so do you find it to be a little gutless at times?

ok its in the shop right now but when i get it back i will take pics.

I had my Protege' and the Subie both in the car port. The Car port is 100% level (I made it my self) Not even a 1' slope.

I was looking at them side by side and noticed that the mazda was off by a bit. So i broke out the ruler and i was right. Took it into the shop and they said unelss I can tell them whats making it do that its not under Wrty. bitches... im starting to not like them

I have had my share of disappointments with the local mazda service dept.

2nd gear synchro in my miata started to go and the techs didnt disassemble the thing for 11 days...

After 5 weeks they finally put a new tranny in because they couldnt fix the old one. In the process, they installed a newer style tranny that wouldnt mate up with the shifter.

They broke the center console when they removed it and scratched half the interior pieces trying to get the console up. The HEAVY tech also destroyed the drivers side seat bolster.

When I FINALLY picked the car up, it was filthy - it looked as if someone had wiped it down with a grease rag. I had dropped it off SPOTLESS.

I had to buy another shifter to get the car to shift properly. I took the dealership to court to get them to pay for all the damage they caused - I won and they looked like fools - Pocketed over $800.

This is a large part of why I bought my subie. Now I will hopefully always have a second car to fall back on if the first one needs fixing :-D (I am now the only person I trust to work on my cars...)
