Preferably LSD, but am considering non-LSD at this point.
Mine is in the process of taking a crap on me, so I need a new one. I already have the LSD, and I would hate to downgrade, but will if I need to.
I think my car wants me to stay home. The moment I even think about saving some money to move out, it starts throwing expensive problems at me. First the $200 bearing replacement ($140 for a dealer-only front hub assembly), and now this.

That being said, everything I post is accurate to the best of my knowledge.
I have the non-LSD internals, just the case with the spider gears, if you think that will fix the problem. Free plus $10 shipping.
If the problem is the ring/pinion this will not help.
I have a LSD. Its not a VLSD that came in the legacy, its a real LSD from a 1987 RX. Originally a 3.7 but i had it converted to 3.9.
Was planning on using it for my 5spd swap, but i guess the 5spd Im getting is 4.11 so i cant use it. Would like to see $300, and shipping to you would probably be in the $90+ range.
I'm pulling my 3.9 VLSD out this weekend. I'm swapping to WRX drivetrain so I don't need it. It's got 120k miles on it. I drained the fluid last nite when I got home from work and it looked fine. I won't be needing the axles either, so I've got those if you're interested as well.
Once it's out of the car I'll weigh it and see what shipping will be.
As far as price range, does somewhere around $150 sound ok for a VLSD 3.9?
