Removed Intake manifold

Post by boro »

I removed the intake manifold off my 91 Turbo and man...excuse my language, but what a bitch that was!
I found 3 broken PCV pipes, the canisrter puge valve nipple is cracked, there is a dry rotted and broken vacuum line next to the IAC, the manifold gaskets where horridly dirty and needed to be burned the stake!
I think I am going to grab some rubber hoses from work and re route all my PCV lines. Clean it up bit. Or can I just put breathers and a catch can on them?

You need to retain the functionality of the PCV system. Do not just put breathers on there. You can run a catch can, but route the lines back to where they are supposed to go.
