Someone Kiped my radiator....

Post by douglas vincent »

I pulled the motor out Friday night due to an unfortunate incident involving piston failure, and left the radiator outside.

It isnt there anymore. :(

I luckily have an extra one, but it may leak, but it does have the damn fans, but I still have to pick up the upper and lower hoses, and the damn overflow tank.

Fucker.

I once left my ex wife outside for an hour in portland hoping someone would take her.

No one took her but she did have an extra $150 dollars when I let her back in.

I spaced bringing it back in that night. Doh!

I am sure someone picked it up thinking "scrap metal". They had to go out of their way to get it, but it was sitting next to my two yard dumpster. My fault, but it still sucks!

Assholes. What did that buy them? Pack of cigs? Brass and aluminum aren't worth that much. I'd only get about $40 for a Subaru block at best after having to cut out the cylinder liners and any other steel. Copper, on the other hand... I'd take my gutters down if I had copper ones and I live in a pretty uppity area.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

I nominate this as candidate for best post of the week

Sorry to hear Doug. You didn't leave it anywhere near the curb did you? Not sure about the PNW, but here in FL, it's 100% legal to take something off another's curb if it's set out as trash. 'One man's trash is another man's treasure' is law down here.
