Bolting up a '02 WRX pressure plate/clutch cover and I am a bit puzzled as to how these are to line up? Everything Ive read says that the cover and the flywheel will have matching marks to show the proper balance when mating the two components. I found a dimple on the cover but no corresponding mark on the flywheel. All of the how to posts dont indicate that a spacific alignment needs to be made. Am I searching needlessly or is there a obvious way to determine correct alignment that I am just too dense to see on my own? Any help is appreciated.

From the experience with my setup....there isn't any specific alignment marks unless you buy the flywheel, clutch, & pp together so that they have been balanced together.

So...just stick it on there and go.

Is the flywheel/pressure plate alignment more important if they have been used together?
Seems like that could have an effect where new stuff wouldn't.
