Anyone have a good used knock sensor laying around?

Got something for sale? Need to sell a part? Got some stuff on auction that you want to let us know about?

I don't have the money for a new one right now and mine is cracked in about 5 places. For my 90 L fwd. Shipping to 97362 and would love to pay with paypal.

Thanks.

The cheapest I could find it for is $59. I can't afford that right now. Maybe I'll just get a used one from the jy to hold me over until I can afford the new one.

then live without it, it's no real big deal if you use decent gas.
all it does is retard the timing a bit.
Mine is bad too, but I'm not replacing it yet. waiting for one to come in on our next stock order.

The reason I don't wanna live without it is because my car runs rough after a rain. It's been said on this site several times that a bad sensor ca wreak havoc on your car.

It pulls a metric assload of timing...I don't like running without them...

I have one that most certainly could be good, that I will mail you if you are interested

I just swapped mine for a gm unit that came with the j&s safeguard I installed. I remembered you needed one and figured I would let you have it for shipping costs, but when I got it out, I took one look at it and threw it in the trash - One gigantic crack that broke through its entire circumference...

I dont think youre going to find a good used one - I dont think they exist

Yeah, that may be so. I might have to wait a few weeks.
