Swapping Interiors..... Can it be done???

Has anybody swapped out the stock interior from a 90-94 legacy to a 95+ legacy interior? Can it be done? Would the dash, door panels, interior trim, and manual seatbelts work?

If I were to guess, based on other Subaru swaps, I would say the dash might go. The rest would be iffy at best.

Next time I'm cruising the yards, I'll do a quick door panel swap if a sample of both cars is there.

seats and manual seatbelts would also work. You'll need the receiver that attaches to the seat too.

Door cards no.

The door cards are designed to match perfectly with the dash, so if they don't fit then the whole thing would be pretty weird.

I will just have to try with one of our parts cars! Thanks guys. How do you think it would look? I really like the hump in the dash of the newer model dash boards. The center console and shifter trim is nicer too.

Does anyone know what years, maybe other models (though I would doubt that) would have a compatible carpet pattern with a 91-94 Legacy Sedan?
