Knock Sensor Band? Wells or Bosch?

Post by JTSPEED »

I need a new knock sensor for the 92 legacy turbo I just scored. Online i see bosch for about 55 bones. But on autozones website site I see a wells knock sensor for about 30 bones. Is the wells a piece of crap? Id rather pay for a better knock sensor then be going thru all this again in a few months. Thanks

I got a niehoff for $25 bucks and it works fine. I've had it for several months and no issues.

The Wells sensor is made in Japan so I would think it would be up to spec with FHI's parameters, though I don't know that for sure.
