Fixed the high idle!

Post by boro »

So I was messing around with it a little today.
Some background: I replaced the intake gaskets and PCV hoses. When it was all back together it idled at 4000 rpm.

It turns out the throttle cable was set too tight. So I loosed it a bit and wallah! It is however, still misfiring under load between 9 vac and 1 ~ 2 psi. I am thinking I have a bit of boost leak for one. Also a plug may be fouled. Worst case scenario is I have a burnt valve(s) and/or piston(s).
