new wheels on the Touring wagon good or bad?

Post by SuperRallyRoo »

I am kind of up in the air as to how this looks on my car. I almost like the old gt wheels more. I wish I could have seen it on my car before purchase of 1000$ in wheels and tires. 2004 BBS RK wheels size with 205/45/17 kumho rubber. On the good side it handles better... Lots more grip, the wheels are way lighter and forged.
ON the bad side they rub on hard cornering but i think I just need to turn my struts up a lil bit.

I like the new ones better.

I'm in the vast minority, but I was never crazy about the BD/BK GT wheels.

BBS are better in all the ways you listed, technically.

They're also a very uncommon, if not unique combination, with your car. I like it when that happens :)

Matt, you're a gangstAR.

Though 1K is a lot of money for something that doesn't look that much better. . . it does look better. . . and handling is what really counts. . . and you said it does a good job of that. . . so well done.

The new rims look excellent...

The older gt rims look good with some colors and not so good with other colors...

The bbs rims look incredible on your car though...

I like them.

Just looking at the wheels alone, I wasn't a huge fan of them, but seeing them on something really changes my mind.

I really like BBS's wheel designs. They really speak to me.
