Will they fit my 91' SS? I need a yes or no answer. Has anybody done this before? Do STI front sways bolt right in? I have searched and have not come up with a for sure answer.
Thanks

BSF18X is the biggest direct fitment for the front and is 22mm
BSR17XZ is the biggest bar that will directly bolt to the rear. It's 18-22mm adjustable.
The BSF20X, a 24mm front bar for GC turbos, will probably fit.
Tomorrow I'm going to try to get an Impreza rear bar on my car so I'll be sure to let people know what it takes. Hopefully then I'll have 20f/20r.
I personally don't ever plan to go with bars bigger than 22mm front and rear. With big bars stiffer struts are needed, and you still run into an over-damped going straight and/or under-damped in corners problem.

It wont fit in the rear without either cutting/bending the body or extending the mounts.
Whiteline's fitment guide isn't as truthful as it may seem. Yes it is accurate as far as dimensions or whatever, but it's not accurate as far as what can actually fit. It's like how 92-94 struts aren't a direct fit for 90-91 cars, but everyone knows they can fit and work.

Yeah my plan was to bend an indentation. My friend didn't have a 20mm swaybar at his shop though so I didn't bother.SemperGuard wrote:It wont fit in the rear without either cutting/bending the body or extending the mounts.

The big difference in a lot of bars is the bushings, but turbo, non-turbo, and 02+ impreza sedans all have different fitment up front.
So like 2nd gen Legacy front bars will all fit, but the clamps bushings are different.
