How much power are you making? I don't trust ANY NA style single diaphram pressure plates at this stage..... Over 300 torque that is..

I have to agree. Buy a good clutch from a good company and it will hold. Make sure the pressure plate has a rating on it that is much higher that what your car make. I have an ACT that was made from 400ft.lbs but has been good at hold more then that. Most brands like spec, ACT, Exedy, and clutch net make good clutches for a decent price.

Besides after you do the clutch once you don't want to turn around and do it twice.

On eBay, gripforce (I think) is a good dealer of Exedy stuff. I got my WRX OE-style clutch damn quick and for a good price. Not to mention that it was a real Exedy clutch, not a counterfeit.
