Good place to buy replacement high-flow cat?

Post by teesaa »

Greetings from VERY cold Finland.

I'm in process of having Unichip installed instead of the current chip, and for that reason I'm upgrading the exhaust system.

Here in europe the replacement high-flow cats cost an arm and a leg compared to prices behind the Atlantic.

The only problem in ordering via internet are the shipping costs. All the Internet vendors want to ship the cat by UPS or similar service... ...and it costs more for the shipping than the cat itself.

Does anyone have suggestions where such vendors could be found in US that can ship the cat as normal packet?

I need both ends of the (high flow) cat to be 2,5".

Also, I'm going to have the cat installed in the same place as the original 1st cat - in the middle of the DP. From there on, a straight thru 2,5" (no resonator) and (a so far undefined) muffler.

Do you also handle mufflers??? Could be easy to send in same packet... :D

Sorry for slightly changing the subject teesaa, but if I may recommend.... :D
Ditch the DP and get a REAL DP, and then mount your cat somewhere under the car. I have a setup like that, and I've just passed emission tests with noooooo problems. The DP is a very important part of the exhaust, so let it flow, let it flooooow... :D
