Here is my Winestone (Burgandy) '93 Turbo with Duplicolor Bronze WRX wheels and 205/50/16's

But for a silver SS, I'd probably vote for anthacite (or some gray variant)

First thing I thought of with silver was very dark, but not black.

I'm going to do black on my blue car I think.

Here's a super quick mockup with some picture:

I just did a set for my Outback is Rustoleum "Black Night Metallic". It's a dark, metallic silver. Once I get tires, I'll try and remember to get pics up here.

I love gold on blue, classic rally scheme

I have been leaning towards bronze to go with the winestone myself, but can never decide: silver makes wheels jump out really nicely, dark colors are not flattering to wheels. This is why gold is nice, it's brighter, but it doesn't go so well with all colors.....

dude, i am painting my wheels too.
what color are you going to do and what paint do you use to do this?

i was thinking gold but that might be outlandish..

bronze wouldn't look good with ABM, the only other thing i can think of is black...

I don't think gold is outlandish against blue, do it and consider yourself lucky. having winestone I think I am stuck with bronze myself

Duplicolor makes "high performance wheel coating" which I will use and is probably just normal spray paint

I bought these and will paint them before mounting rubber

I know they should be washed, but should wheels be primed before painted? sanded?
