Just read old thread - ever get that thing installed? Love to see some pics and fully understand whatall you are doing with it?
So you'd shoot your TMIC with the same stuff you put on the windshield? Really? Yuk.

I don't see why it won't work, but it didn't really fit what I wanted to do with it for my AWIC setup.
