My '94 Touring wagon decided to shoot out the top segment of the power antenna & the white nylon "cord" that drives everything today.
Does anyone have a junked wagon lying around that they want to sell the whole antenna assembly out of? Must be working fine.
I am assuming that the mast alone is replaceable, does anyone have link/pics for how to do it? I did search electrical & body forums- no luck. I would consider buying a new mast only from the dealer if they still exist & it isn't a huge pain to get in & working. Any input/tips on difficulty?
Thanks,
Tony

the masts are available from Subaru, roughly 50-40 bucks..... mine is broken also and at one point I had found a "how to"... I don't recall what/where it is but there is something related to feeding the nylon core back into the drive mechanism.
