Well, we painted all the trim satin black. She is now officially blacked out! No more polished lip! Now with a beautiful set of all black 05 WRX Wheels!

Getting ready to mock up the Air/Water IC with frontmount condenser! After a long trip through the junkyard, we finally found a condenser that will work! All we need now is a bilge pump to get the water flowing.

Should I paint it black or leave it aluminum?

You missed the 2 chrome strips in the back to completely "black it out"

Otherwise it makes me drool.

We started getting it all mocked up today!

We had to cut the bumper cover a bit, but it still looks pretty stock

Here is the crazy pump we got. 400 Gallons per minute! only 80 bucks!

Here is how it looks all mocked up. Tomorrow we will make some brackets, and run all the hoses!

Updates! The Air/Water IC is all done! It lowered my 1/4 mile times by 4/10th's!

Once the WRX interior is all done, I'll go out and do an actual photoshoot.

So the car is running 14.1's with the AWIC?

I saw something about coilpack conversion somewhere, are you running on the EJ20G or ej22t ECU ?

Yes, currently running 14.2's with the Air/Water.

It is an oil cooler out of an older Saab Turbo.

RX7's have pretty big oil coolers, probably similar in size to that saab unit that may work for those folks looking to make a AWIC system.

dyed the interior black permantly, got the seats from a 01' 2.5RS coupe. Thanks for the question.

How high ar the rs seats compared to stock.

Anybody know if the 91 stock height is different from the 93 SS's?

They sit about as high as the stock seats adjusted all the way up.

how is dying the interior different from painting it?

paint comes off, dye doesn't.

I got it from Baxter Auto parts, it is a Nylon Carpet dye made by VHT. There are other companies out there. It has to be for nylon carpet though! lol, not for wool!
