Hesitation when gas peddle is applied

I think this is the right spot for this. ?

When I give it some gas it sputters and just doesn't wanna put out the power to the wheels. It doesn't happen when I barely touch the gas, only when I push it down a little more.

Just replaced oil filter, air filter, wires and plugs.

Fuel filter maybe?

Ideas?

Usually fuel filter or plug wires. Fuel filter usually made it between 20 & 30k with me. They're expensive, but how freakin' easy they are to replace makes it worth it.

where are you buying them, cause here they cost like $40 thats cheap

$40, jesus thats expensive for a fuel filter!!

at Advance Auto they are $15.95 i just called cause im going to put a new one in today
i was thinking about getting the TPS and that was freaking out the roof! $308.90 i think ill check the junyard if this filter doesnt fix my prob

AutoZone has the filters for $15-20, IIRC.

I had the same type of thing when an alternator went on me. It acted like that till the battery charge ran out. No warning light came up.

no lights?
when mine went out about a week or so ago, i cant remember the specific lights but it was 3 or 4 of them always stayed on, and when it was about to die my car barely idled, it ran when i was moving at good speed, but it just killed over at a stop light and would start again
also windows were slow and radio came off and on
