Yeah the Legacy is the US equivalent of the Liberty and vice-versa. I don't know if there are any specific mechanical differences...

The Liberty most resembles the Japanese-spec Legacies in both it's
driving position and available powertrains.

The US version is the same chassis with some aesthetic changes, LHD
and really lame engines...

Jason,

in continental Europe and the US we have the steering wheel on the
right (read "left") side..... ;)
(LHD probably means LeftHandDriven or something like that)

Stands for "Low Horsepower Device". Japanese/UK/Aus/NZ vehicles
come equipped with an RHD (or "Regulated Horsepower Device") to keep them
in line with the Japanese manufacturer's 280HP limit... we get crappy LHD
versions of the same cars.
