Just got done washing and waxing (rare occurrence, but I just bought a random orbital buffer......) my '91 SS, so I thought I'd snap a few pics to share.

I need to get the dents removed and get it painted, but the lack of a 3rd gear needs to be addressed prior to that.
Turtle Wax Ice works pretty well. Also, to remove the oxidation on the trim around the windows, Mr. Clean Magic Eraser can't be beat.
I just realized that I didn't blank out my license plate, but then realized I really don't care. I only have it for 1 more year anyway. Then I am probably going to spring to get an 'IML 255' plate.

It smells like candy and gives one hell of a shine. Not the best out there, but relatively inexpensive and easy to use since it doesn't leave white crap on trim.
It would look a whole lot better if it were painted, though, since that is the original 1991 paint......

when you wax your car only a couple times a year you should use something before you wax to clean it
i used Meguires Body Scrub (i think thats the name, its like a 5 year old bottle), its a bitch to use because it really gets into the paint and its will wear you out trying to take it off, but it works
i dont think they sell it anymore, i guess its the equivalent of a detailing clay or paint cleaner they sell now
very clean looking, you've did it right, and will be respected for a good job well done.

I removed the Subaru emblem, and there were 2 holes in the trunk. I filled them in and primered over the area.
If you look close, there's another area of primer on the passenger's side of the hood where there was a spot of cancerous rust that I repaired.
Like I said, I need to fix a few little rust spots, fix the dents, and get it painted. Also hoping to fill the bumper with a front mount, but that seems to be well on down the road.
