If you're on any kind of an incline, you can't back up at all. On flat ground, you have to rev it pretty high to get it to move.
Is the tranny just toast or is there something I can do?

Do a stall test, time lag test, and line pressure test. If everything comes up bad just get a new tranny, if its only the reverse clutch, and low & rev brake then just replace those clutches and be done with it.
Though considering it's probably 150 ish for a set of clutches for both new and you can probably get an aftermarket full rebuild kit for like 200-250 it'd probably be more worthwhile to go that route and replace all the clutches you go through to get to the low & rev brake.
BTW rebuilding an auto is HELLA easy. People just make it out to be hard because they don't undestand it and think that all the moving parts are like rocket science or something.

yea i just had the same problem in my N/A. i replaced it with my turbo tranny. when i tore it apart the clutch packs were shot
