Sure, he used PVC, but who hasn't thought of using the stuff (some of us know better, and know why not to)? Personally, I think PVC is a good way to mock up pipes.

I think it's ridiculous that he's got an air filter on the end of his front mount. That kind of thing would get you shot around here.

+1 for what Phil said. I say good for him. $600 for a turbo set up Honda? Shit, even if he blows the thing up after just few passes I say it was worth it.

Seriously, it would just be fun to beat on it. The only thing I'd invest in is a wideband and some kind of FPR. Crank up the boost and fuel until she can't take anymore, gut the interior, and invest in a set of slicks.
