What "kit" to use, for front mount?

I was wondering if I was to go with a front mount setup, what kind of car would i buy it for to start? how does it work with our stock setup.(92 SS) :?

well Im no pro at this but when I did mine I just ordered a kit from ebay (105 CAD shipped to my door) came with a like 6 90's 2 70's 8 couplers an I dunno it was decent in my mind also had straight peices its aluminum... all mandral then i ended up using 1 straight peice form an exhuast shop an 2 of my stock intake peices.... I can send you some pictures an find you one of the kits online if youd like... i did have to relocate my battery but got away with the ABS system staying

Pictures would be sweet. also where did the battery go? Trunk? and if you don't mind, can you send me a link to a "kit" that would work. :D

I used the JDM GC8 WRX Kit from ebay ($220-270).

The core is super big & is a pain to get behind the bumper, but the pipes almost fit with the ej22t. None of the pipes fit with the EJ20G & I suspect that fit will be bad on a Hybird DOHC ej22t.

Of the 4 pipes that come with the kit 3 fit the ej22t with minor mods, 1 is completely wrong & has to be fabbed from scratch.

I have pics of both set-ups (ej22t & EJ20G) but am not smart enough to post pics on this site. If anyone wants to post them pm me.

I think this kit was fairly easy to install & will save time vs. fabbing FMIC tubing from scratch.
