and it made 216hp @ ~5700 and 235lbs! @ 4000!

TQ is purple
HP is red
Boost is the light blue
AFR is light purple.

sorry for the crap image, Cobb's printer was "the shit yo".

I'm running a vf39 and FMIC with supporting mods.

I drove 10 hours to SLC for the track day and decided last minute to get a dyno run. Holyballs!™, running around the track was fun! I did 5 20min sessions which at full blast took about 3mm from my kumho MX's and the AXIS metal masters only started to get weak towards the end of each session, haven't checked out the wear on those yet.

Wow, wish mine pushed 216 hp ... right now mine is pushing 0 hp lol ... but yeah after I get mine rolling, my goal will be around 200 hp... oh and is this 216 hp at the wheels ?? great car and most importantly great numbers !!!

Yes these #'s are at the the wheels on a mustang dyno at cobbs trackside facility at the larry miller motorsports park. Also in that pic above I'm the wagon in the back.

I'm tuning fuel with a HKS Super AFR piggyback box.
Dyno dude said the fuel curve looked just fine except the little valley from 3000 to 3500, so I added a bit more fuel there.
He said the cams fall off at ~5700 and that I needed also to taper the boost off because when the power & torque are falling off, but boost stays constant, it causes a EGT spike that could be harmful. I opted to leave the boost steady to redline, I like the feeling and I don't spend lots of time between 5700 and redline.

That is cool how you got the center of the wheel to spin at a different rate than the rest of the wheel. Very urban!

I'm running it at ~16psi right now, I'm thinking of bumping it up a couple more and seeing what happens. I still have plenty of injector left, currently I'm running them at minus ~10% across the revs.

Can you fill me in on all your relavent mods?

I'm mostly interested in the injectors (stock?) as you say you have more injector left and are pushing 16psi and 216hp (close to what I thought was the limit of our stock injectors)

And what's the difference between the 2 runs? some fueling adjustments?

you are just about ta pass on the strait-a-way (see photo). I over heated the first lap of the fourth session and pulled it off the track, but made it home just fine.

We really need to do something about that engine of yours. That's the second time recently it's gotten hot. Maybe 200+k mi just isn't something that should be tracked? :twisted:

Farfrum- I'm using these 425cc injectors which are ~20% larger than stock. And since I'm pulling 10% right now I think I will try and see how much more boost I can run at 0% correction and use all 425cc's.

As far as "supporting mods" a walbro pump, turbo XS FCD(nice), the HKS fuel tuner(which sucks but was cheap, simple to use and WORKS). internals are stock.

Siouxbe- great meeting you at the track, boy was that a blast huh! I can't wait for next year. Hope your motor is fine. I got really concerned with mine after the second run when I saw the temps pass 220*, after I bothered to take my grill and hellas off, add REDLINE water wetter( which works great BTW) I asked the COBB guys what temps they see in their cars. they said 220-230 they have their warnings set to chime at 240*. I was relieved after hearing that.

So, Klienkid, you fit these into EJ22T rails right?

And Biggreen, you fit these into NA rails, right?

That's what I get from the 2 linked threads. Keeping the current rails would be nice if I did something like this in the future.

Interesting. I have a set of the NA Ej20 injectors Klein is using. I would like to know if they fit Ej22T rails. Not that it really matters since I have an Ej20G in my car, but I am just saying it would be good information to have...

Yes, they fit correctly into my stock '91 EJ22T rails. I had actually bought some 92-94 NA rails that I was told these grey top injectors would work in. They did not fit into those rails. Trying to figure out what to do, I did discover that they did fit properly into my stock rails that I took the stock pink injectors out of.

Hey Matt, We really missed ya at the Track and the Caravan out was fun! Really learned a lot @ Cobb and the 'Canyon Run' afterward was well...Hairy.
As far as the 'Over-heating' goes the only varibale was the Crucial Racing Thermostat I put in B4 the CHP track day. It's 160 degree and if it sticks, it sticks Open. I'm thinking that yes, maybe it's time
for the STi short block 'Franken-motor' with Cobb pistons to keep
the C.R. reasonable so I can still use 91 or lower octane.
In addition, I see that Summit Racing has a Radiator part # PLI-431311 for $299. Perhaps that's the answer. I also have PM'ed
Harvey a couple times for a Dyno appt. with no reply :(
I was thinking that an adjustable Fuel Press. Reg. might be in order
to tune it a bit before a block swap to see what I'm puttin' down.
