Pretty much complete 93 Turbo Leggy Sedan

Post by ferrari494 »

Wrapping up all the work I've been busy with...big thanks to Keith and Eric down at Frantic Four of course!

EJ22T w/ Weisco stroker kit bored and stroked to 2.38
vf-39
06 WRX Intercooler
JDM WRX 4.11 Manual Tranny
ACT clutch setup
4.11 VLSD rear diff
EJ20G manifold
DOHC heads
04 WRX struts with eibach Pro-Kit springs
Custom Fuel Injection System
Custom Intake w/K&N cone
440cc STi injectors
turboXS exhaust
03 WRX front and rear seats
05 WRX bronze rims and tires
EDM glass headlights(city lights FTW baby)
and of course my sweet custom mesh grill :-D

Still need to plumb up the BPV, so still on stock 6-7 psi of boost and stock ECU.

Future plans are some form of EM, better brake setup(just running upgraded "Sports" pads), and then hopefully repaint the beast; then I think I'm done until I graduate college in a year and can do something real nuts on a car

I'll cut to it, here are some pictures of it

I'll add more pictures of it tomorrow or the next day, or whenever I get around to it...

*ahem* I don't see a battery tie down....

That is an awesome build, very similar to what me and my brother were planning!

...how does it run?

ahhh, you win the award :)

This picture was taken right after it was put together, I have a new battery in there right now anyway, but its the only engine shot I had from months ago...

It runs veeery nicely. The only downside is when you first start it up and its cold it idles around 3k, but let it sit for about 2 mins and your golden...

I'll know more once I get the BPV in and am pushing more than 6-7psi...and will get a dynajet dyno on it so I have real numbers to throw out there.

^^^ My car does the exact same thing when you first start it really cold. Idles at 3K, then drops down to normal. What could be causing this?

i dont think so... all of us have some type of jdm 2.0 liberty hybrid motor and they all do the same thing..... maybe its a 440cc injector thing

Nice. Can't wait to see the dyno numbers should be impresive!

Hey, those blue hoses are cool - silicon? - can you post the link where you got them? I'm not sure I'll run anything but black but am looking to source some nicer hoses to have on hand for my TMIC install next month...

So how long did this take start to finish and what did you learn?

I wish I had a car like this in college!!!

Cheers,
AW
