Rear Axle Lengths

Post by mike270 »

Does anyone know what changes to rear axle length have been made over the years? I'm putting an '03 automatic Forester diff into my 91 T-Leg and obviously I need new axles, but I'm not sure what axle I need. Do I have to get a automatic Forester axle or are WRX axles the same length or RS axles the same length for example? I've got a RS axle that I've test fit and the splines line up on the diff side, but without doing the whole install, I don't know if the lengths will be right.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, I didn't find much in a search.

Bump for the new week. Anyone know anything? I'm looking to complete the setup within the week if I can.
