You need to read the parts shed rules...are you interested in buying this at all or just messing up the dudes thread. :?

Robert is a good guy who took good care of this car, his ASKING price of $2500 is fair. He has been totally up front regarding any "issues" this car has. He has fixed the main issues to make it a runner and not raised his price at all. It is worth more now, IMO. This motor was fully serviced when the LOW mile shortblock was installed. Yeah its not closed deck but I know lots of people who could care less about that and rather own a car that they can feel good about when the timing belt was last changed, every seal on the motor was replaced, plugs, wires, coolant etc... Not to mention having a modern Subaru block which bumps the compression mildly which totally transforms how this car feels from the butt dyno perspective.

Lower mile on the chassis, black interior, the "rare" stigma with owning a legacy turbo, and still tons of upgrade potential if you are into that. In the overall sence of the used car market, this is a good deal. People want that much for dime a dozen NA legacies of this generation. This is an affordable AWD turbo car!

Robert, I hate to say it, but the bbs is not the best place to sell a car. Put it on craigslist for $2900 and watch how fast it sells. Good luck...
Retired but still rocking a 98 Coupe with the heart of a turbo legacy :)

it does run now and thats awesome. i most definatly was not trying to put tha owners charecter into question. maybe youre right i and shouldnt point out tha negatives of a for sale post. just my opinion of what its worth, especially with a branded title. i agree though, if you put it on craigslist youll probably sell it faster. ive had 2 turbo legs on here. some guy who said he wants one asap, didnt look at either one. good luck with your sale.

I'll vouche for Robert in that he's a good guy and the car he is selling is also a good car. I've spoken with the previous owner and Frantic Four regarding the work that was done. Yeah it has a branded title but you are basically buying a car with a brand new engine and all the little nusiances of a SS have been fixed - including a new sunroof install. It also has the nice 16" GT wheels and good rubber. Had I not found a SS locally for $1800 (a real steal) I would own this car hands down.

This car is a sweet ride and deserves a good home.
