92 Subi Legacy Wagon build..... Help....

Post by forcefed44 »

I'm taking on a different project for a daily driver "hunter" type vehicle in the form of a 92 Subaru Legacy L wagon. What I"m looking to go for is a little performance mods that will get this thing up and go aswell as tackling the suspension.. I haven't found alot of anything for the car and year model since it's not a Turbo. I have a few plans and need an idea on where to look and how to attain performance parts for it.. I want to raise it about 1 - 1.5" {Outback series look}. I want to add a little more power. {Cams, Exhaust, Header, Intake}

I already have:

KYB struts
15" Upgraded to BBS's from 14"
Cold Air intake filter

I need:

Springs to raise and stiffen car I want to install 17x7.5" with 215/50/17s
front strut bar
Stiffer Bushings, mounts, etc. (I don't like Whiteline products)

Anyone outthere do please let me know. As I have mentions, I know Audis and VW's like the back of my hand but the Subie??? Now that is a work cut out for me..

what's wrong with whiteline?

And you can just get 96-99 Outback struts and/or springs.

Maybe the fact that they use Poly, and as we should all know, poly isn't a great material for most of the places it's used.

why do you say that? Throw some grease on them every once in awhile and they'll be silent and last as long as the rest of the car.
