Hi
ok so im doing a 5 speed swap in my 1991 sports sedan.
now im going with 4.11 gears out of a 90 sedan that had a 5 speed so i have the old auto trans out and triying to install the new trany and i see that that splines are both external on the half shafts and the transmission and rearend. do i need to get inverted splines or cani take the external splines out of the trany?
Also
As far as the Transmission control computer goes do i still need 1?
and than there are 2 extra conectors on the clutch pedal? do i need to plug these in?

the splines on the auto's and 5 speeds are the same so you dont need to swap them. and for the computer take it out you wont need it.
as for the connectors. the one on the brake peddle is to light the rear lights when your braking. and the one off the clutch is for cars that need the clutch disengaged to start the car. but sense your car was originally an automatic, you dont have a connector to hook up to it. dont worry its nothing important.

Chris,
did you pull the axles out of your trans and diff, or did you punch the roll pins to remove the half shafts?
Take a look at the shafts I gave you you will see a roll pin about 1/2" in from the end. If your shafts have that pin, knocjk them out with a hammer adn punch, and put your stub shafts back in....

If you don't hook up the clutch start interlock system on the clutch pedal, you will need to hard-wire the starting circuit for the inhibitor switch, so you can start the car.
